Projects

Academic interests

I’m especially interested in how we think about aging and how different generations relate to each other. My research has looked at aging stereotypes and intergenerational relationships, and more broadly I’m drawn to questions around cognition, dementia, caregiving, and everyday human behavior.

Interests

Martial arts and personal growth

Outside of school and research, I’ve spent years training in both grappling and striking—Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and wrestling, boxing, and Muay Thai. I’m drawn to the discipline of training itself, and how the lessons learned on the mat or in the ring—staying calm under pressure, working through discomfort, building consistency—carry over into how I think about psychology and personal growth.
